The fileappend code has changed a bit over time, which I think is the reason why sometimes, code that is supposed to add measurements to an existing text file overwrites this file instead. If you use one of these scripts basically unadjusted, I would appreciate attribution in resulting publications. All scripts are commented fairly extensivelys so they should be easy to use and modify.
